Land Development Civil 3D CADD Design/Drafting Technologist

We are seeking a Land Development Civil 3D CADD Design/Drafting Technologist to join the Select team. In this role you will assist in various technical tasks and projects, supporting the overall operations of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is knowledgeable with Autodesk Civil 3D, passionate about land development and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Civil 3D CADD design and drafting for a variety of land development engineering projects
  • design of civil infrastructure for new urban land projects (watermains, sewer systems, drainage, lot grading, roadways, storm facilities)
  • develop digital terrain models from topographic survey data in Civil 3D
  • prepare engineering report figures and plans
  • provide engineering technical support to senior engineers and technologists

What You Bring:

  • certified training in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential
  • experience with lot grading, sewer and road design with an understanding of local standards and approving authorities is an asset
  • strong attention to detail, organized and self-motivated
  • able to work independently and within a team environment
  • effective communication and time management
  • takes pride in producing high quality work
