We are seeking several Field Coordinators/Technologists to join the Select team. We are involved in the servicing of residential, commercial, industrial land development and municipal capital infrastructure projects across Alberta.
The position requires an engaged, energetic and organized person who is capable of multi-tasking, meeting project deadlines, and working closely with the Select team, other professionals, and Clients to deliver high quality work. The successful candidate will support construction activities as assigned by the project manager and will be responsible for on-site executed work to assure all work is performed to safety and quality requirements.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- field coordination
- municipal and land development design and drafting
- construction surveys
- record drawings
- verify as-builts have been completed to specifications
Candidates should highlight their aptitude with the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of construction survey experience is preferred, but not required
- a diploma or bachelor degree in civil engineering/technology or related experience in a land development related field
- Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
- knowledge of GPS surveying
- strong attention to detail
- organized and self-motivated
- able to work independently and within a team environment
- ability to work outdoors in a construction environment
- good time management skills
- good verbal and written communication skills
- valid driver’s license and vehicle
